Natural pest management

11 March 2017 | Environment

Do you know that only about one per cent of all species of insects you see in a garden are pests? The majority are beneficial insects, which can be attracted to your garden to help clean these pesky aphids and caterpillars, and to pollinate your fruiting vegetables and fruit trees for better crops. You need to provide them with appropriate food (certain flowering plants) and shelter.

Learn how you could employ and attract these little helpers before you reach for an insecticide spray.
