Renovators Destination™ for Homeowners

In excess of $475 million worth of renovations and building is undertaken in the City of Canada Bay each year.  To assist property owners, Council holds several building and renovating events throughout the year.  Local businesses involved in the Renovators Destination™ campaign also participate in these events.

Council hosts regular 'Your Home' Seminars quarterly. The next seminar is scheduled for Wednesday, 26 October.

Building Certification Team

Providing an efficient and professional service for all types of building and additions.

Experienced building surveyors and assessment officers provide efficient, cost effective approvals, building certification and building inspection services including:

• Construction Certificate approvals for all building types
• As a Principal Certifying service (PCA), all inspections during the course of construction
• Issuing Occupation Certificates on completion of building works
• Compliance with conditions of Development Consents
• Advice and consultancy services on the Building Code of Australia and technical standards.

The Building Certification Team have the long term support and stability of Council and direct and immediate access to Council’s approvals history and Council’s Planning Officers so that we can provide quick advice and assistance to our customers.
