Cabarita Park Conservatory was officially opened by Mayor Helen McCaffrey on May 11, 2017. This $1.1 million project provides an adaptive space located in the popular Cabarita Park. 

The conservatory is an arts & cultural facility for artists and the community to undertake creative and cultural pursuits, including workshops, classes, exhibitions and youth and health programs. It includes a multipurpose hall, courtyard (with outdoor seating), storage, public toilets, kitchen and food truck facilities.

Expressions of interest for use

The City of Canada Bay is looking for groups’ and artists’ proposals for innovative, unique, whimsical, vibrant and meaningful cultural engagement of the local community. Our aim is to promote a sense of place and connection.

Council may offer a total, or partial, fee waiver for the space for projects that support community engagement. A small cost for cleaning may be charged.

Expressions of interest close 5pm on Friday, 29 September 2017.
