“Christmas can be a difficult time for those less fortunate and it’s important that we help where we can,” said Mayor Helen McCaffrey.
“I have no doubt that our great community will come together and give generously again.”
All items will be distributed by our five local St Vincent de Paul Society Conferences where volunteers work tirelessly to ensure those experiencing hardship will have an enjoyable Christmas. Items in need include new toys, tinned and packaged foods, and toiletries such as toothpaste, toothbrushes and deodorant.
Donations and should be placed under the trees before 10am on Friday, 16 December.
