City of Canada Bay Mayor Helen McCaffrey is encouraging the Canada Bay community to volunteer this Clean Up Australia Day on Sunday, 5 March. City of Canada Bay’s annual clean-up day is Team Up to Clean Up is part of Clean Up Australia Day.
“Team Up to Clean Up is a great opportunity to clean up and conserve our natural environment,” Mayor McCaffrey said.
“It’s always best if waste goes in the bin and doesn’t end up polluting our beautiful area. This wonderful initiative keeps litter out of our parks, streets and waterways.”
Council will host a free BBQ from 10am-12.30pm for all volunteers at Council’s clean-up sites:
