Arts and Cultural Development
The City of Canada Bay has initiated a unique model for its arts/cultural development program which is supported by a special sustainability levy - each rate payer's contribution towards arts/culture is framed through principles of sustainability - social, cultural, environmental and economic. Council's Cultural Plan 2009-2013 sets the strategic direction for producing a range of contemporary arts programs that span the visual and performing arts, digital arts, public art and social history.
