Looking for Artists

The City of Canada Bay is looking for artist's proposals for innovative, unique, whimsical, vibrant and meaningful ephemeral public artworks, presentations or performances that promote a sense of community, place and connection.  

Council is seeking proposals from a range of artists and practitioners working in any medium or discipline, who have experience or an understanding of processes surrounding public outdoor displays and performances.    

The City of Canada Bay is developing and delivering a community arts festival for twilight on Valentine’s Day, Sunday 14 February, 2010 entitled ‘PassionART’.  This unique cultural event will feature artists and cultural workers of various descriptions situated on and around the popular foreshore walk on the Bay Run.  An experienced based event with a focus on community involvement and partnership, PassionART offers a great opportunity for the community to explore diverse celebrations of love in all its incarnations and through all five senses.
