Graffiti Management
The City of Canada Bay Council Graffiti Vandalism Management Strategy was adopted by Council on 18 August 2009. It identifies a number of reactive and proactive strategies to be implemented over the next three (3) years.
The Graffiti Vandalism Management Strategy is closely aligned with Council's FuturesPlan20 and Community Safety Plan and demonstrates the Council’s commitment to improving the appearance of the City, as well as improving perceptions of safety and community wellbeing.
The five key elements identified by this strategy are:
- Data Collection and Research;
- Graffiti Removal and Maintenance;
- Crime Prevention Through Environment Design (CPTED) Strategies;
- Community Education, Information & Support; and
- Public Art & Engagement Strategies.
Detailed Strategies that address the key elements are contained in the Graffiti Vandalism Management Strategy.
