Youth Services Team

City of Canada Bay Council Youth Services Team (YST) comprises of a Community Development Worker (Youth) and a Youth Activities Coordinator.  Council works collaboratively with other local councils and youth services to ensure maximum participation of young people and to ensure provision of youth services are of a high quality and meet the needs of young people in the City of Canada Bay.  The YST work together to develop youth projects, programs and other youth related initiatives to provide young people aged 12-24 years opportunities to gain valuable skills as well as contribute to their community.  Some of the services Council provides for young people include:
• Youth Reference Group
• Holiday activities
• Arts-based youth projects
• After-School activities
• Sport and recreation
• Referral services
• Regional Service development
