Youth Week 2009: Make a Move!

Youth Week is a national celebration with events and activities held country-wide and co-ordinated by local government areas.  National Youth Week 2009 runs from 28 March to 5 April and is set to go off with the theme 'Make a Move'. What's On

'Chatroom' by Edna Walsh School

  • Performances and Workshops - Thursday, 26 and Friday, 27 March at Concord High School.   For Concord High School students only.
  • Public Performances - Friday, 3 and Saturday, 4 April 7pm (to be confirmed) at Leichhardt Town Hall.  All welcome (Gold coin donation).

'What Would Your Mother Say!': A retrospective of young women's fashion, culture and identity - Exhibition opening - Saturday, 28 March 2pm to 4pm at Concord Library, 60 Flavelle Street, Concord.  All Welcome.
*  Exhibition continues throughout April during library hours.

Emerge Band Comp - Sunday, 29 March 12pm to 4pm at The Annandale, 17 Parramatta Road, Annandale.  
*  Drugs and alcohol prohibited.  Free event, no pass outs.

Emerge Skate Festival - 5 April, 10am to 4pm at DJ Park, Summer Hill.  Skate Clinic 10am to 11.30am (12 to 15 years only), Skate Comp from 12pm. Register on the day to have some fun and win great prizes.  Comp categories include: junior, senior and female.  Under 18 years must have signed parents permission.
