Budget at a glance
Council's 2009-10 Budget is a prudent budget in uncertain times. Council's budget is no different to any family or business budget - we have to make sure what goes out is being covered by what's coming in and that we're being strategic about how we spend the money that is coming in. The Budget includes operating expenditure of $48 million and a Capital Expenditure Program of $7.9 million. Council is also proposing to use developer contributions - Section 94 income - to fund another $4.6 million worth of capital projects.
