Delivery Plan and Budget
Council's 2009-2013 Delivery Plan, 2009-10 Budget and 2009-10 Fees and Charges have now been adopted.
As part of Council's proposed 2009-10 budget, an application was made to the NSW Government for an Infrastructure Renewal Special Rate Variation. The 6% Special Rate Variation was to allow Council to fund $1.5 million worth of important maintenance and renewal work to our community infrastructure annually, allowing us to ensure proper management for future years.
Council was advised by the Minister for Local Government in July 2009, that the application was unsuccessful. As a result, these critical works have been put on hold, until a review can be conducted and Council can allocate sufficient funding to these projects.
