The following is a list of road and maintenance projects being undertaken in the City of Canada Bay over coming months.
Blaxland Road Boat Ramp
Work has begun on the Blaxland Road Boat Ramp. Read our Blaxland Road Boat Ramp Fact Sheet for further information.
Cintra Park Carpark
Council begun the re-building of the carpark at Cintra Park. Works are expected to be completed by November 2014.
City Services - Maintenance and Construction
Road Maintenance
Energy Australia restorations are being undertaken by Council at the following locations:
- Majors Bay Road, Concord (ongoing)
- Correys Avenue to Jellicoe Street, Concord
- Queen Street, Concord West
- Yaralla Street, Concord West
- Consett Street, Concord West
- Gracemere Street, Concord West
- Flavelle Street, Concord
- Smythes Street, Concord
- Cabarita Road, Cabarita
- Phillips Street, Cabarita
- Elphinstone Street, Cabarita
- Moore Street, Concord West.
Energy Australia to commence notification with business owners and shops.
Parks and Gardens
Garden Services
Council has permanently stationed a two person crew at Rhodes to undertake foreshore and public garden activities.
Barnwell and Massey Park Golf Courses
General maintenance is being undertaken to ensure both the golf courses are kept at a high standard.
Rhodes Peninsula Works
Pedestrian Crossing
Safety improvements and adjustments to associated parking signage at the Blaxland Road Pedestrian Crossing at Rhodes. Works are expected to be completed by the end of May 2012.
