Rates Instalment Due Dates

The Local Government Act 1993 prescribes the following due dates each year:

• 1st Instalment - 31 August 2011
• 2nd Instalment - 30 November 2011
• 3rd Instalment - 28 February 2012
• 4th Instalment - 31 May 2012.

Note:  Rates and domestic waste charges are exempt from GST.  Also, if paying in full, the due date is the same as the due date for the first instalment ie 31 August.
