State of the Environment

Each year Council’s State of the Environment Report discusses each environmental theme in the context of issues and responses implemented during the reporting period. 

Where possible, a series of indicators which provide relevant, up to date information about each area are used to provide progressive information regarding each environmental theme. 

A Sector statement of the issues and what is required in their management in order to meet community and statutory obligations is also detailed in the report.
