Fees and Charges

Different application types are subject to different fees.  The fees applied to your application will normally come from Council as outlined in the Schedule of Fees and Charges (see 2011-12 Fees and Charges page), but may also come from a number of State Government departments such as the Planning Reform Fund or the Long Service Payments Corporation.   

To lodge an application with Council the following fees will normally apply:

  • Development Application
    • Development Application fee
    • Planning Reform fee
    • Notification fee
  • Section 96 Modification
    • Section 96 fee
    • Notification fee
  • Construction Certificate
    • Construction Certificate fee
  • Construction Certificate Modification
    • Construction Certificate Modification fee.

Application fees listed in Council's Schedule of Fees and Charges are applied in accordance with the EP&A Regulation 2000.

Fees are listed on the relevant application forms where possible.  Where no fee is provided it is because the fee requires calculation based on the estimated cost of works.  In these instances you may refer to the Schedule of Fees and Charges on Council's 2011-12 Fees and Charges page, or alternatively, to quickly and easily calculate the fees that will apply, please contact Customer Services on 9911 6555. 

Please Note: An additional 1% credit card fee will apply to the dollar amount paid by credit (Diners cards are not accepted).
