Development Overview

Council has a responsibility to all residents and ratepayers to ensure that all development and building work is planned and monitored in a responsible and environmentally conscious manner.

If you are carrying out any building work then you need to fill in a development application (DA), pay your fee and submit it to Council.

A Council officer will review your application and notify you if your application has been successful or if modifications are required, or if more information is required. Please note that more complex matters or matters that have received significant objections may be referred to a Council committee meeting for determination.
