  • Rebound Therapy Program at Five Dock Leisure Centre
  • Complimentary entry for carers of people with disability at Five Dock Leisure Centre, golf courses and swimming centres
  • Bay Connection Seniors Bus Trips
  • Livvi’s Place All Abilities Playground
  • Access maps for town centres
  • Large font books and hearing loops in Council libraries
  • Access audits of Council buildings
  • Training for Council staff in disability and cultural awareness.

  • Undertaking improvement works specifically relating to access of Council buildings and facilities including a $20,000 ramp access to Taplin Park public toilets and canteen
  • Updating policies with improved provision for access and inclusion including the Events Policy and Procurement Policy
  • Developing a Reasonable Adjustment Policy to facilitate the inclusion of people with disability
  • Reviewing Council’s Corporate Identity Guidelines to assist in publishing accessible information
  • Including access information on Council’s publications.
