Water as a Resource

The City of Canada Bay is a voluntary participant in the International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives Water Campaign and the Sydney Water, Every Drop Counts program which both assist Council in reducing their consumption of potable water. 

In 2006 Council prepared a Water Savings Action Plan (WSAP) which was approved by the state government. 

These programs and action plan adopt the principle of conserve, reuse, recycle when it comes to water management.
