Sustainable Schools Network
In March 2012 Council will launch a Sustainable Schools Network for schools in the City of Canada Bay.
This is a council-facilitated forum where teachers and parents can share ideas, inspiration, and experiences on sustainability learning, projects and environmental programs in school communities. The network provides a streamlined point for two way communication between schools and Council staff and programs, including access to the Small Environmental Grants for Schools program which will launch in early 2012.
The network is open to all schools in the City of Canada Bay. It will not replace any existing Council-run waste or sustainability programs in local schools. Schools will receive a letter of invitation to the first meeting in early February 2012.
