Native Havens

Native Havens is an initiative that was first pioneered in Sydney’s northern suburbs. The program promotes the use of locally indigenous plants in residents gardens, as a means of expanding the available habitat for the City’s native birds and animals to use and to help provide ‘bushy linkages’ between areas of larger bushland habitat around the City.

Participants in the program are provided with a detailed list of suitable native plants for their individual property, advice on planting and maintenance, as well as free local provenance native plants!
