Public Health Panel - Pain Management

"Pain is one of the biggest health issues in Australia today – every bit as big as cancer, AIDS and coronary heart disease. Yet it remains one of the most neglected areas of health-care" - Professor Michael Cousins, Chair National Pain Strategy. Chronic pain can greatly impact on an individual's quality of life. Join our expert panellists in a discussion around the importance of pain management. Panellists will cover how chronic pain can be effectively managed, lifestyle issues and when acute pain leads to chronic pain. There will be opportunities for those attending to ask questions of our panellists.
