Congratulations to our Citizen of the Year, Mervyn Spencer. Involved with Drummoyne Community Centre for 16 years and president of their Management Committee, Mervyn is described by his colleagues as a stalwart and is a greatly valued member of the team. I was privileged to bestow this honour on Mervyn on Australia Day.

A new program designed to give women the confidence to find their hidden talents will be held in March at the Drummoyne Community Centre.

Investigative journalist Rochelle Jackson will discuss her book Partners and Crime, a fascinating insight into women and their bad boy partners at Concord Library on Friday, 24 February at 1pm.
