Ausgrid have notified Council that their contractors need to excavate a trench through the road that leads from the roundabout in Cabarita Park to the public ferry wharf in order to install an underground conduit.
This works will occur on Friday, 25 July between 2am and 6am to avoid disruption of the bus service to the ferry wharf.
Some noise is expected as a small excavator will be used to dig the trench and back fill it.
Council apologises for any inconvenience caused by these necessary Ausgrid works.
