Welcome

The City of Canada Bay has taken home two prestigious awards at the International Awards for Liveable Communities (LIVCOM) ceremony held in Pilsen, Czech Republic, with gold in the Whole City Awards, Category B (population 20,001-75,000) and the overall winner of the Environmentally Sensitive Practises project award.  With more than 50 countries from all over the world vying for an award, bringing home two is a significant result and an outstanding achievement for Council.  I congratulate all staff involved.

The busy end of the year seems to have started early.  Get a team together for the Relay for Life event to aid the Cancer Council over the weekend of 31 October-1 November.  Help support our local primary schools in the fifth annual City of Canada Bay Mayoral Golf Day at Massey Park Golf Club on Friday, 13 November.  All great community events offering lots of fun.
