| 20 November 2014

“Once again this year our community, businesses and other supporters dug deep to raise money for a worthy cause and I want to thank everyone for their support,” he said.

“Raising around $37,000 is wonderful and it will go towards a playground for children with a disability at St Mark’s Catholic Primary School.

"The playground will be a pilot project for  to create guidelines for schools to help improve accessibility in school yards across Australia.”

This year, even the students at St Mark’s Catholic School got involved, entering a team in the hard fought competition!

The winners of the 2014 Mayor’s Golf Day, held at Massey Park Golf Course on Friday, 14 November, were Southern Aquatic Services.
