Recycling Week competition for Canada Bay residents
By simply answering a waste minimisation question on the back of a postcard City of Canada Bay residents go into the running for great prizes in a recycling competition starting October 8.
Organised by the City of Canada Bay Council and Cleanaway, prizes on offer include a weekend away for up to four people to the value of $1000 and a digital camera worth more than $600.
From October 8, all households in the City of Canada Bay will receive a National Recycling Week Competition postcard in their letterbox.
To be in the draw to share $2000 of prizes, residents need to correctly answer the simple waste minimisation themed question located on the reverse of the postcard before posting it back to Cleanaway by Friday November 2, 2007.
The fun competition is being held to celebrate Planet Ark's National Recycling Week from November 12-16 2007.
Only City of Canada Bay Council residents can apply and only one entry per household will be accepted.
Other prizes include two sustainable living prize packs worth more than $100 each or one of two Body Shop gift vouchers worth $100 each. The first prize winner of $1000 is able to take themselves and three friends to the Old Leura Dairy.
