Canada Bay Celebrates Aboriginal Culture

To celebrate NAIDOC Week, City of Canada Bay Council is hosting the Jeffrey Samuels and friends exhibition of Aboriginal Art at Five Dock Library.

Featuring the most extensive collection of Aboriginal art ever shown in the City of Canada Bay, the curator of this exhibition is Matt Poll, Director of Boomalli Art Gallery.

Jeffrey Samuels and friends will be launched on Monday, 7 July at 6.30pm (for 7pm). The event will feature renowned artist Jeffrey Samuel discussing his work and other pieces in the exhibition. Indigenous music and dance performances will compliment the fine art on display.

Cheese and wine will be served and art work is available for sale.

Jeffrey Samuels and friends runs from 5-31 July at Five Dock Library, Garfield Street.
