National Tree Day
July 23, 2010
Council's bush carers will be organising planting activities which the whole family can get involved with while having fun at the same time.
This is a great opportunity to help rehabilitate Quarantine Reserve's threatened Swamp-oak Forest community and provide native animals a home to live in.
Make National Tree Day a day for the family, the environment and your community. With a barbeque lunch on offer, it promises to be a great day out.
Parking is available in the Spring Street car park, Abbotsford and participants are recommended to wear appropriate clothing (hat, long sleeved shirt, long pants, enclosed shoes and sunscreen).
Please RSVP by 30 July to Council's Bushcare Coordinator on 9911 6555 or to council@canadabay.nsw.gov.au.
