Works start on new Alexandra Street Reserve playground
Works to construct a new innovative playground in Alexandra Street Reserve, Drummoyne commence today Monday, 14 May with completion scheduled for August 2012. The current play area will not be available during this time.

Rowers' safety threatened by more moorings
Mayor Angelo Tsirekas said at Council’s last meeting he will contact the Minister for Roads and Maritime Services to regulate the use of boat swing moorings following community concerns about rowers' safety in Iron Cove, Drummoyne.

An information and training session will be held on Wednesday, 9 May at 9am-1pm for older men who would like to be part of a great new intergenerational community project.

Community groups and non-profit organisations are invited to a community building grants workshop on Wednesday, 9 May at Five Dock Library or Monday, 14 May at Concord Library with both sessions running from 6-7.30pm.
