Win prizes in National Recycling Week

“Don’t contaminate your bin!” is the message for this year’s National Recycling Week Competition.

National Recycling Week is held each year to increase awareness of the importance of recycling. To celebrate National Recycling Week, City of Canada Bay together with Cleanaway are giving residents the chance to win some great prizes through a postcard competition.

All households in the City of Canada Bay will have now received a National Recycling Week Competition postcard in their letterbox. By simply answering a bin contamination question on the back of the postcard (check the hint on the front of the postcard), Canada Bay residents will go into the running for some fantastic prizes.

Prizes on offer include a weekend away for up to four people at the Old Leura Dairy to the value of $980 and there is a dinner for two at a fine dining restaurant valued at $150. There are also sustainable living packs to be won.

The competition is open now and postcards must be returned to Cleanaway by Friday, 31 October. Prizes will be awarded during Planet Ark’s National Recycling Week during 10-14 November. The competition is open to all residents of the City of Canada Bay. One entry per household will be accepted.
