Casual Early Childhood Educator (Assistant)

The City of Canada Bay is a thriving, colourful community, surrounded by the beautiful bays of Sydney Harbour.  The area is also known for its parklands, cycle paths and walkways.

$25.89 per hour (including casual loading)

To be successful in this position you will have:

• Prior expericence working with children 0-5 years (practicum expericence accepted)
• Demonstrated skills in the care, nuture and education of children
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent initiative and team work qualities
• Current First Aid Certificate (desirable)
• Certificate ΙΙΙ in Childrens Services (desirable)

Casual staff will be called upon to cover permanent staff during their absence, or to boost staffing levels at the centre as required.

Centre opening hours are between 7.30am and 6.00pm, 52 weeks of the year. The centre caters for 51 children per year, aged 6 weeks to school age.
