Ceremonies and Photography

Several parks in our area are suitable for wedding ceremonies and photography.

The two most appropriate locations are Cabarita and Prince Edward Parks.  Both have rotunda areas that can be booked for exclusive use, and several waterfront areas that are suitable for photos. Please refer to the attached map to view permissable locations for ceremonies and photography.

We do consider wedding ceremony applications for other areas. If you have a location in mind please contact the Recreation Bookings Coordinator by email in the first instance on openspacebookings@canadabay.nsw.gov.au or by phone on 9911 6555.

If you are considering any sort of extra equipment like a marquee, catering, amusement devices or related items, you need to contact the Recreation Bookings Coordinator as this may require additional approvals and fees. 

Please complete the Ceremonies and Photography form to make an application.

Some things to consider when making your application:

  • The booking applies only to the rotunda area. BBQs, picnic benches and other facilities cannot be booked
  • Food and drink cannot be taken into the rotundas
  • Wedding receptions are not permitted in Council parks
  • Seating is not permitted, except in the case of older or frail guests
  • Normal parking fees and arrangements apply.
