Renovators Destination™ for Homeowners

In excess of $250 million worth of renovations and building is undertaken in the Canada Bay region per annum.  To assist property owners, Council holds several building and renovating events throughout the year.  Local businesses involved in the Renovators Destination™ campaign also participate in these events.

Council hosts 'Before Your Renovate' Seminars quarterly. The 2010 seminars are scheduled for:

Building Certification Team

Providing an efficient and professional service for all types of building and additions.

Experienced building surveyors and assessment officers provide efficient, cost effective approvals, building certification and building inspection services including:

  • Construction Certificate approvals for all building types;
  • As a Principal Certifying service (PCA) we provide all inspections during the course of construction;
  • The issue of Occupation Certificates on completion of building works;
  • Compliance with conditions of Development Consents; and
  • Advice and consultancy services on the Building Code of Australia and technical standards.

We have the long term support and stability of Council and direct and immediate access to Council’s approvals history and Council’s Planning Officers so that we can provide quick advice and assistance to our customers.
