Parking Permits

Resident Parking Schemes have been installed in some streets of Canada Bay to manage and share parking in high demand locations between commuters, businesses and residents.  Residents of specific properties who have inadequate off-street parking may apply for permits to park in the streets listed below.  Residents may also apply for a Visitor Permit. In Drummoyne a Business Parking Scheme also operates.

There are strict rules governing permit applications and their use. Due to State Government rules and Council's residential parking policy, only specific properties may be eligible to receive a permit.  To find out if your property is eligible, please enquire by email, phone or in person to Council's Customer Services.  If your property is eligible, further conditions apply, and these are shown on the application forms.

Parking permits are valid from the date of issue and expire on 30 June every year. Resident and Visitor Permits are initially issued free of charge.  A fee applies for any replacement permits in accordance with Council's yearly Fees and Charges.  Fees apply for all Business Permits.

 How to apply for a Permit

Complete an application form and return it by e-mail, mail, fax or in person to Council's Customer Services. The application form must be accompanied by a copy of both proof of residence and the vehicle registration. Please download the applicable forms and conditions of use:
