Update on Fridge Buyback Program

The Fridge Buyback program has collected over 3,500 fridges, reducing greenhouse emissions by over 30,000 tonnes and saving $5 million in electricity bills thanks to the outstanding response from the community.

Phase 2 of the Fridge Buyback program has now ended and the program is not taking any further bookings.  Next Energy is seeking further Government funding to implement a third phase of the Fridge Buyback Program.
