McIIwaine Park - a natural gem overlooking Bray's Bay
McIIwaine Park - a natural gem overlooking Bray's Bay

The Rhodes Peninsula is scattered with an assortment of outdoor open space areas, spectacular parks, playgrounds and foreshore walking trails.

Enjoy a wander through the celebrated Brays Bay Reserve and Kokoda Track Memorial Walkway. Take in the vistas of the Parramatta River along the foreshore walk from Mill Park, near John Whitton Bridge and right through to Rhodes Foreshore Park. Rhodes offers residents and visitors alike, a sanctuary of natural open spaces.

A number of open space projects are still in development, including the proposed central park and the Community Precinct will add to this, as will the proposed Homebush Bay Bridge. Vistas from central park and down Mary Street connect the community with the water from the central spine.
