As part of the planning and development for the Rhodes Peninsula, the City of Canada Bay has developed and is continually reviewing strategic plans and legislative documents which will assist in an integrated approach and realisation of the community's vision for the future. Council has developed the Rhodes Peninsula Place Plan, Arts Plan and Plan of Management for Open Space over the last 3 years and has incorporated significant input from the community.

Council is currently in negotiation with developers and land owners to finalise planning for the 'station precinct', the final section of land adjacent to Rhodes Station, which was excluded from the 2010 Rhodes West Masterplan. This planning will complete the master planning for the western side of the Rhodes Peninsula, we encourage you to find out more by visiting the 'station precinct' section below.

This section also provides information on strategic projects which relate directly to the Peninsula. Some of these projects are being delivered by NSW State Government, neighbouring local government areas and developer consortiums. These projects include the provision of the Homebush Bay Bridge, connecting the communities of Wentworth Point and Rhodes and the Wentworth Point Urban Activation Precinct, which will allow for additional residential development.
