We have opened the nominations for this year’s sustainability awards and invite the community to get involved, says Mayor Angelo Tsirekas.
“The awards are presented to businesses, community groups and individuals who have achieved outstanding economic, social or environmental outcomes in the past two years,” he said.
The theme for this year’s awards is technology, and the impact of technological advantages in improving our ability to be sustainable.
The community can nominate in the following categories:
Winners will be announced at a prestigious awards night to be held later this year.
Award nominations are open to community organisations and residents located in the City of Canada Bay and close on Monday, 9 June.
