Council’s outdoor aquatic facilities feature panoramic harbour views and offer heated salt water pools, shaded children’s pools, programs, merchandise, cafés and kiosks.

Maintenance works were carried out during the off-season. Each centre has received safety signage and emergency exit upgrades to ensure they are compliant with Royal Life Saving Society standards.

Non-slip stairway treads have been installed at Cabarita, as well as a first-aid room privacy screen.

Drummoyne has received a new pace clock, electronic facility signage and reception area upgrade to include new tables and chairs, a fuse ball table and a table-tennis table.

Community members are invited to attend our pools open day at Drummoyne Swimming Centre on Sunday, 11 September from 10am-2pm.

There will be prizes and give-aways, an exhibition water polo match, face painting and barbeque as well as a meet and greet with Olympic champions Brooke Hanson and James Magnussen.

Drummoyne Swimming Centre operates seven days a week from 5.30am on weekdays and 6am on weekends. It is located along the Bay Run at 1P Henley Marine Drive, Drummoyne.

Cabarita Swimming Centre is open from 6am seven days a week and is located on Cabarita Road, Cabarita Park, Concord.
