Easter waste collection and opening hours

| 11 April 2017

Residents are reminded to put their bins out the night before their collection day as pick-up trucks may collect bins earlier in the day due to changes in waste facility operating hours.

Don’t forget to roll all your Easter egg foil into a ball (tennis ball size is great) and put it in the yellow lidded recycling bin.

Any rigid plastic containers used for storing or transporting Easter eggs can also be recycled.

Any old electronic devices can be put aside ready for the e-waste drop-off day on Sunday, 28 May at Cintra Park car park, Crane St, Concord.

For more information about waste collections, bin repairs or replacements, lost or stolen bins or using bins correctly, call the waste hotline on 1300 551 659.

The City of Canada Bay Civic Centre in Marlborough Street along with Five Dock Library, Concord Library and The Learning Space at The Connection, Rhodes will be closed from Good Friday to Easter Monday, 14-17 April and Anzac Day, Tuesday, 25 April. Regular hours resume on Tuesday, 18 April.

For all enquiries during this time please contact Council by calling 9911 6555, emailing council@canadabay.nsw.gov.au or completing an online request form.
