ANZAC Day
Community members in Canada Bay can recognise Anzac Day with a number of events to be held around the City.
Five Dock RSL will commemorate ANZAC Day on Sunday, 19 April. The service begins at 11am and will be held in Five Dock Park at the Memorial Cenotaph.
On Saturday, 25 April Concord RSL Club will mark the day with a march beginning at 5am starting at Norman Street. This will proceed along Nullawarra Avenue to the Club for a service commencing at 5.15am. Following the service a traditional hot breakfast will be served.
A dawn service will also be held at the Cenotaph, Civic Centre, Marlborough Street, Drummoyne at 5.45am on Saturday, 25 April. At the conclusion of the service a march will commence from Marlborough Street along Victoria Road to Drummoyne RSL where a traditional hot breakfast will be served.
