Concord Carnival 2011

Concord Carnival was a hit with young and old alike as Majors Bay Road welcomed dinosaurs galore!

More than 28,000 people packed the streets to take part in dinosaur shows, visit the reptile and dinosaur petting zoos and take part in a feast of song and dance.

Kids were enchanted by Erth Dinosaur's masterful puppetry which told the stories of our ancient reptiles. Interactive performances throughout the day were complemented by dinosaur and reptile petting zoos where young and old were given hands on experience with some of our most popular reptiles.

Entertainment throughout the day kept the crowds bopping, with local dance groups, singers and musicians revving up the crowd for the Carnival's popular headline act, Brown Sugar.

There was something for everyone with rides, merchandise stalls and plenty of food to satisfy the hungriest visitor.

Concord Carnival was proudly presented by the City of Canada Bay and supported by Canada Bay Club, Cleanaway, Robert Timms, Inner West Courier and Channel 9.
