Listing on Council's Calendar of Events

Event Submission Criteria

To be listed, events must:

  • Occur at a venue or location within the City of Canada Bay Council area.
  • Be open to the general public.
  • Have broad appeal for people from the City's community as well as visitors to our area.
  • Be expected to attract at least 100 people.
  • Be submitted by the event organiser or authorised agent.
  • Be annual, one-off, or special events.
  • Be specific, finalised and confirmed prior to submission (Events with dates to be announced, undetermined locations, etc. cannot be listed).

Please note:

  • Events likely to receive favourable consideration are fairs, festivals, annual events, and exhibits.
  • Events that will undergo careful review for broad appeal before being accepted include fundraisers, charity functions, trade shows, preliminary competitions, etc.
  • Normal attraction schedules with phrases such as "tours every weekend," "open over Easter," or "simulcasting" will not be accepted.
  • Amusement areas and other seasonal attractions will not be accepted.
  • The City of Canada Bay Council is not obliged to list events submitted here and reserves the right to edit or decline any event.
  • Incomplete forms will not be considered.
