Wellness Week

Wellness Week was held from 18 to 24 May 2009.

Wellness Week is the City of Canada Bay's annual health and wellbeing promotion.  It aims to support the growth of a healthy community by:

  • encouraging residents to commit to a journey to wellness;
  • providing opportunities for experiencing new healthy activities;
  • providing opportunities for health education; and
  • fostering on-going community connections, particularly around health activities.

This year's program included in excess of 30 free activities provided by local businesses to participate in and many special offers and discounts to start a journey to wellness.
