Summer Reading Club

The City of Canada Bay Library Service participates in this national program designed to encourage and promote reading and literacy during the summer school holidays.  Children who read during school holiday breaks can maintain or improve their reading levels.

The Summer Reading Club is held each year in December and January, and has lots of activities to occupy children in reading and sharing books, games and craft.

Registrations open 1 December 2008 and close on 15 February 2009, so pick up a Reading Record at the library and start reading!  Children who read 10 books or more in the January school holiday break will be invited to attend a party at the library where they will be presented with a certificate as well as being in the draw for some great prizes.  Watch this page for details of prizes!

Check the Summer Reading Club website for fun activities.
