Celebrity chef Darren Robertson will cook up a storm at Ferragosto 2015

 is one of Sydney’s favourite Italian festivals and as always, in 2015 will showcase some amazing food and wine. 

Since arriving in Australia from the United Kingdom in 2001, Darren Robertson has been a prominent fixture on the Sydney food scene. 

In 2011, Darren and a group of friends opened  in Bronte. Armed with the philosophy to deliver great food while reducing their carbon footprint wherever possible, they established a vegetable garden on the rooftop and chickens onsite to supply the restaurant. 

Darren’s commitment to sustainable food practices and strong grow-it-local mission has seen him recently open Three Blue Ducks at The Farm, Byron Bay - an 86-acre green space offering a unique farm-to-table dining experience. 

The chef, television presenter and author said “the Three Blue Ducks philosophy is simple; growing our own food and using locally sourced ingredients, cooking from scratch and eating sustainably is our way of life”.

FerraCucina is one of Ferragosto’s best drawcards. This year it will run all day with local chefs joining Darren as they cook up Italian food at its best. We are pleased to welcome back  and we welcome for the first time  and . 

FerraCucina will run from 10.30am at Fred Kelly Place, Great North Road, Five Dock on Sunday, 16 August and is sponsored by Italianicious Magazine.
