Swimming Centres

The City of Canada Bay provides two of the most picturesque, seasonal, outdoor aquatic facilities in Sydney. Drummoyne and Cabarita Swimming Centres, both managed by Belgravia Leisure, feature heated outdoor saltwater 50-metre pools, high-quality programs and panoramic water views.

Cabarita Swimming Centre

Location

Cabarita Swimming Centre is in the picturesque Cabarita Park on the foreshore with panoramic views of the bay.

Facilities 

  • 50m outdoor, salt water Olympic sized heated pool
  • Salt water, heated p1rogram pool
  • Shaded, heated toddlers pool
  • Shaded bleachers area
  • Café/kiosk facilities.

Opening hours 

Monday to Friday: 6am–7:30pm
Saturday and Sunday: 6am–6:30pm 
Public Holidays: 8am–6pm 
Closed Christmas Day and Good Friday

The Centre is closed in the off season between 30 April to 1 September.

Drummoyne Swimming Centre

Location

Drummoyne Swimming Centre is located adjacent to the Iron Cove Bridge on the western foreshore in the Inner West.  

Facilities 

  • 50m outdoor, salt water Olympic sized heated pool
  • Salt water shaded, heated toddlers pool
  • Shaded bleachers area
  • Café/kiosk facilities
  • Swimming merchandise and
  • High quality programs.

Opening hours

Monday to Thursday: 5:30am–7:30pm
Friday: 5:30am–6:30pm
Saturday and Sunday: 6am–6pm 
Public Holidays: 8am–6pm 
Closed Christmas Day and Good Friday

Clubs

Drummoyne Swimming Centre is home to the Drummoyne Water Polo Club, with over 350 members they are one of the biggest in Australia. For more information please visit Drummoyne Water Polo Club.

Drummoyne Swimming Club established in 1904 runs training and swimming competitions on Saturdays during the pools opening season. For more information contact Drummoyne Swimming Club.

  • Drummoyne Swimming Club - overlooking the picturesque Iron Cove at Drummoyne on Henley Marine Drive (near the Iron Cove Bridge). The Club meets every Saturday morning at 7:30am during summer.
