3D Model-A-Droid (Design and Print in 3D)

Does your child want to learn how to design and print 3D objects? We'll get them started with an introduction to 3D modelling.

In this workshop we'll take your child through the basics of 3D modelling with Tinkercad to create a printable 3D model! Your child will learn:

• How to navigate the 3D website interface
• How to combine basic shapes to make a more complicated object
• How to edit the model, add text and more

Tinkercad is free to use online, so kids can also continue modelling at home after the session.

Suitable for families with children aged 8–12 years. No previous experience with 3D modelling is required, however participants are encouraged to bring their own laptops.

We design the learning and social experience of our workshops very carefully – it is important for the enjoyment and safety of all participants that your child is within the age range for each session and accompanied by an adult.
