To celebrate this year’s dessert-themed FerraCucina program, we are asking people to upload an original photo of their favourite Italian dessert for the chance to win great prizes.

Council’s #ferradolci grand prize is a Supercar Drive Day voucher from Sports Car World, worth $1,195. The competition winner will enjoy the experience of a lifetime, driving a range of sports cars along the scenic coastal route to Wollongong before tucking into a gourmet harbour lunch.

The runner-up will receive a $50 gift voucher from Italian providore, Salt Meats Cheese. The voucher can be used for online purchases, cooking classes or at any Salt Meats Cheese venue.

To enter City of Canada Bay’s #ferradolci Instagram competition, participants must upload an original photo of their favourite Italian dessert, tag @canadabay and use the hashtags, #ferradolci and #ferragosto2016.

People can enter as many times as they like, including at Ferragosto where there will be a smorgasbord of traditional Italian sweets and treats to try.

Ferragosto is Sydney’s premier Italian food and culture festival and returns to Great North Road in Five Dock for its 19th year this August.

The #ferradolci Instagram competition closes at 11.59pm Monday, 22 August.
